UNDERLAY PLYWOOD
We are now stocking “TSU-01” Underlay Plywood, specifically engineered to meet the high standards required for floor coverings, using a 4-ply construction giving greater strength and stability than the usual 3-ply panels.
With a density of 585-650 kg/m3, it enhances the screw holding and fixing capabilities of the panels and the machine jointed core veneers prevent gaps or overlaps which can telegraph through to the final floor covering.
The face veneers are 1.3mm, preventing blistering problems which can occur with panels with thinner veneers and all natural defects in the faces are repaired, filled and sanded.
TSU-01 conforms to the highest Bond Class Standard (BS EN314-2 Class 3), using Phenol Formaldehyde Resins and fully compliant with CFA Guidelines (The Contract Flooring Association) and BS 8203 : 2017 – Code of practice for installation of resilient floor coverings.
For high value floor finishes, TSU-01 means you can trust what is underneath.
